About Us

CL Tesseyman & Son are a family run farming and agricultural contracting business comprising of two brothers, Richard and Chris and our mother Anne. Our family has been farming at Spellow Grange, Staveley since 1934.

Contracting has always been a part of the business with our grandfather Charlie offering a ploughing and threshing service.

Over the past 20 years we have been steadily expanding. We are looking to continue the steady expansion of both the farming and contracting business as the next generation, George, Charlie and Max are growing up fast and showing a keen interest in agriculture.

Our team includes a mixture of full and part time members of staff who are very reliable, enthusiastic and experienced in all farming operations. We operate within and around West and North Yorkshire.
